Mrs. Phillips, 92, formerly of Shrewsbury, diedMay 12, 2008, in Loris, S.C., following a brief illness. She had resided in Red Bank and Shrewsbury for several years. She was employed at Bamberger’s department store, Eatontown, retiring in 1987. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; a son, Jack; two sisters, Angela Van der Pyle and Katherine Bakelaar; and two brothers, Frank and Bill Hogan. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Him Psichos of North Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Betty Phillips of Shrewsbury; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
