The State Quilt Guild of New Jersey will hold its annual convention and show June 12-14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the New Jersey Convention Center, Raritan Center, Edison. This year’s theme is EastMeetsWest, with the interpretation left to the quilter as to how these two come together in the quilt. There will be hundreds of quilts on display, including a youth category.
The convention will include vendors, professional quilt appraisals, special exhibits and a quilt raffle. Lectures and workshop for the adults require preregistration. Youngsters can try their skills at quilting in the youth area. For more information, call 732- 792-1187 or view www.njquilts.org.
