The Samaritan Center is very grateful to the Manalapan-Englishtown Post Office for the tremendous amount of food we received from their food drive on May 10. We thank all of the wonderful postal patrons who donated the food; Manalapan Township for providing a trailer to hold all the food for transport from the post office to our location; all of the postal workers who collected the food and off-loaded it into the trailer; Manalapan employees and our own volunteers who helped unload the food at our offices; and the volunteers who are still sorting, stocking and storing the roomful of food that was collected. This community effort will enable us to provide for our client families all through the summer – traditionally the time when donations tend to be the lowest of the year. May God bless you all.
