Sayreville Middle School students Norman Whiteley and Amanda Herbert make beaded keychains recently as part of a project in which sixth-graders in Robert Babst’s class had to find a unique way to raise funds for worthy causes. Students researched ideas, designed a business plan and manufactured and sold products such as jewelry boxes, personalized keychains, friendship bracelets and other items.
