Helen R. Larson

   HIGHTSTOWN — Helen R. (Sapir) Larson, 93, of Meadow Lakes, died at her home Tuesday.
   Born in Ottawa, Canada, she had lived many places before taking up residence at Meadow Lakes. She attended Smith College, Amherst, Mass., where she was a member of the alumni association, and Black Mountain College, Providence, R.I.. She received a bachelor’s of arts degree in social work and worked as a social worker at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City for many years.
   She is survived by her children, John Larson and wife Leslye of San Francisco, Calif., Ruth Larson and husband Hunter Taylor of Mount Holly; step-grandchildren Thaddeus and Jacob Russell, Tamara Latorre, Cindy Taylor, Brad Bisinger, Meredith Amaroso and Devon Taylor; six step-great-grandchildren; brothers H. Michael Sapir of San Rafael, Calif., Dr. Paul Sapir of Providence, R.I., J. David Sapir of Charlottesville, Va.; sister-in-law Marjorie Sapir of Rockville, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held privately under the direction of the Crabiel Memorial Funeral Home, Hightstown.
