The Edison Elks awarded scholarships in the amount of $500 each at Edison High School and J.P. Stevens High School at their awards ceremonies. Nilam Shah received the Nich Inchausti Memorial Scholarship at Edison, and Jagmeet Singh received the Leon Matelski Memorial Scholarship at J.P. Stevens.
The Edison Elks Scholarship Awards ceremony was held June 27 at the lodge. The scholarships were awarded to Elk members’ children and grandchildren in the amount of $500 each. The following students received awards: James Bea, Steffany Furst, Meghan Hansen, William Nahan, Lisa Palmisano, Jordan Price, Robert Stalling, Alexis Vitello and Ryan Zsido.
