Bayonet Farm, 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel, will offer classes this summer from July 12-Aug. 23.
FUNdamentals of Sculpture will allow children to work with various materials to create a range of sculptural objects. The Young Scientists class will explore scientific concepts through children’s literature and hands-on activities. A theater class will feature creative exercises and theatrical improvisations. A class for adults will use the beauty of Bayonet Farm and its grounds.
Classes are Saturdays, and there are six sessions: 9-10 a.m. for ages 8-10, and 10:15- 11:15 a.m. for ages 11-13. Cost is $60/per child and $70 for nonresidents. Materials fee is $15. For more information or to register, call Holmdel Department of Parks and Recreation at 732-946-2820, ext. 1225.
