The Junior League of Monmouth County (JLMC) will hold an informational reception 7:30-9 p.m. Aug. 5 for prospective members at Spring Lake Community House, Third and Madison Avenues. Attendees will meet current members and learn about the league’s community projects.
The JLMC is open to anyone interested in becoming a member. Its vision is to become the life skills resource for women in Monmouth County. It consists of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through action and leadership of volunteers.
