The Holistic Moms Network, Middlesex County chapter, will host its monthly meeting 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Metuchen Library, 480 Middlesex Ave (Route 27). This informal meeting is for all members and prospective members to discuss the future of the chapter, give ideas for events and speakers; meet new (and old) members and share parenting tips. The purpose of the Holistic Moms Network is to encourage moms (and dads) in their efforts to parent naturally and to raise their children holistically, to help holistic moms find others with whom they can connect, and to continually educate parents and families about alternative health, mindful parenting, natural healing and green living.
