Mr. Colleton, 79, died Aug. 11, 2008, at home. He resided in Cranbury, East Brunswick and Monroe before moving to Lehigh Acres, Fla., last year. A U.S. Army veteran, he was the owner of Belleville Scale Co., Belleville, for many years prior to retirement. Mr. Colleton was predeceased by his stepson, William Evans, in 2004. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Linda Lee Golla Colleton; a son James J. Colleton and his wife, Jessie, of Roosevelt; a daughter, Patricia McGowan and her husband, Garret of Chester, Va.; three stepsons, Barry Evans and his wife, Liza, of Old Bridge, Robert Evans and his wife, Shelly, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Craig Evans of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Jo Paprota and her husband, Raymond, of Lake Wales, Fla., and Catherine Borbely and her husband, William, of Pennington; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.
