Mr. Piazza, 89, a resident of Milltown since 1954, died Aug. 14, 2008, at his son’s home in North Brunswick. He was the founder of Highland Park Glass and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Piazza was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette (Caturano) Piazza, in 2006; a daughter, Nora, in 1986; and siblings Antoinette Heinz, Salvater Piazza, Marie Rose Policastro and Josephine Furcone. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Jr. and Diane of North Brunswick; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Patricia of Somerset; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Milltown, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School, c/o 233 North Main St., Milltown, NJ 08850. Arrangements were by the Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown.
