William L. Buffalino Sr.

Mr. Buffalino, 70, of the Whiting section of Manchester, formerly of South River and Spotswood, died Aug. 25, 2008, in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City. Prior to his retirement in 2002, he was employed as a carpenter for more than 20 years with Carpenters Local No. 1006, Milltown. His wife, Rita A. Rosenberg Buffalino, died in 2003. Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Crosby, and her husband, Robert, of Spotswood, Christine Breden of the Toms River section of Dover and Toni Brylewsik of Point Pleasant; two sons, Sid Aumack Jr., and his wife, Charlotte, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick and William L. Buffalino Jr., and his wife, Annemarie, of Jamesburg; four brothers, Frank “Chet” Buffalino of Buffalo, N.Y., Nick Buffalino of Sayreville, Carl “Sonny” Buffalino, and his wife, Jackie, and Tony Buffalino, all of South River; three sisters, Carmela “Mud” Malyska of the Somerset section of Franklin, Katie Wlodarczyk of Sayreville and Patty McIlvaine, and her husband, Jim, of Spotswood; a brother-in-law, Robert, and his wife, Jeanette, of South River; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
