Emil Prokop

Mr. Prokop, 65, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 2, 2008, at home. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was employed as a machine operator with Permasel, a division of Johnson and Johnson, New Brunswick. Before that, he worked for Royal Foods, Woodbridge. He was predeceased by his mother, Maria Prokop. Surviving are his wife, Teresa Rybakiewcz Prokop; three daughters, Amy Prokop of Parlin, Kathy Dicesare, and her husband, Mario, of Manahawkin and Vlasta Albertson, and her husband, Stephen, of California; his father, Juraj Prokop of Slovakia; three brothers, Miro, Edo and Jaro, and a sister, Margetta, also of Slovakia; his in-laws, Magda and Andrew Kaczmarski of South River; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
