Mrs. Sherwood, 84, a resident of South River for 52 years, died Sept. 28, 2008, at home. She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Sherwood, in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Denise Bennett and her husband, Peter, of Middlesex and Karen Viens and her husband, Donald, of Old Bridge; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
