Mrs. Elitchko, 61, of Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, died at J.F.K. Haven Hospice, Edison. Born in New Brunswick, she had resided in Sayreville before moving to Laurence Harbor 15 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Isabelle Zebrowski. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Robert Elitchko; two sons, Robert Elitchko Jr. and Todd Elitchko, both of South River; three daughters, Desiree and her husband Alan Kazar of South Amboy, Lisa and her husband Scott Spingarn of Sayreville, and Michele Elitchko of Laurence Harbor; a brother, Eugene Zebrowski Jr. and his wife Tracey of Jackson; three sisters, Mona Jean Quinlan and her husband Dave of South Amboy, Debbie Markus and her husband Benny of Keyport, and Roxanne Asseng and her husband Wally of Woodbridge; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, followed by private cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
