The Blood Center of New Jersey is holding a blood drive at the Society Hill Clubhouse, 400 Thames Drive, Old Bridge, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1.
Cookies, treats and homemade goodies, along with coffee, tea and juice, will be served to all donors. The coming holiday season is a crucial time for blood donations. Donors are encouraged to bring friends and neighbors to support this effort to help area hospitals.
Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh 120 pounds. Bring a driver’s license or photo ID. First-time donors must know their Social Security number. Phone the N.J. Blood Center at 1-800-NJ-Blood (1-800- 652-5663) with any questions.
