Mrs. Takacs, 82, of South River, died Sept. 13, 2008, at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased in 2006 by her husband of 52 years, Carl A. Takacs. Surviving are her children, Carl, of South River, and Cindy, of East Windsor; two sisters, Anne B. Shymanski, of Old Bridge, and Cecelia Szaber, of South River; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Interment was at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
