The Raconteur will present the “Haunted Bookshop” 7-11 p.m. Oct. 31 at 431 Main St., Metuchen. The event will have a gallery of horrors, including characters of many of literature’s most chilling stories and poems, and there will be live music by the Phantom Pianist. Admission is $5 at the door, and all ages are welcome.
