Explore Lenape lifestyle Nov. 2

Join Brenda Davis, a member of the Mohawk tribe and president of the Intertribal American Indians of New Jersey, at 3 p.m. Nov. 2 as she presents “American Indians Yesterday and Today.” This event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Central Branch of the Old Bridge Public Library, located in the Municipal Center at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

Davis will explore Lenape lifestyle, discuss the need to preserve their culture, and present a display of Indian clothing. Davis was born and raised on the Six Nations reserve in Canada and is known for her interactive presentations for adults and families.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Old Bridge Public Library.
