Mr. Johnson, 68, of Keyport, died Oct. 26, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was a retired employee of Middletown Township Department of Public Works, where he was employed approximately 40 years. He was predeceased by a his brother, Richard; and a grandson, Kenneth William. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Johnson; his fiancée, Debra Boyce; five children, Todd Stryker, Melissa and James Hauslieter, Brian Johnson, Scott and Davanna Boyce, and Dawn Boyce; a brother, Charlie; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be Oct. 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral service will be Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown.
