Mr. Legato, 92, a resident of East Brunswick for more than 50 years, died Oct. 6, 2008, at home. He worked at the Raritan Arsenal in Edison for 20 years before his retirement in 1960. Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Harriet Longo Legato; two daughters, Kathleen Legato of East Brunswick and Susan Dreschniol of Warren; a sister, Josephine Domiter; and two grandsons. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in East Brunswick, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
