The Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission will present the Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet Theatre 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Richard P. Marasco Center for the Performing Arts, 1629 Perrineville Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
The company of 12 soloists and principal dancers will perform “A Classical Ballet Gala” that may include such group works as dances from Petipa’s Pakhita, and a new ballet choreographed to the music of Gershwin. Also featured will be familiar pas de deux and solos from “Swan Lake,” “Don Quixote,” “Le Corsaire” and “The Sleeping Beauty.”
Tickets will be available three weeks in advance of the performance at the Monroe Township Senior Center, One Municipal Plaza, the Monroe Township Community Center, 120 Monmouth Road, Monroe, NJ 08831, and at the door two hours before the performance.
