The Metuchen-Edison Historical Society invites the public to learn about the historic designation of the Metuchen post office at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Old Franklin School building, 491 Middlesex Ave. (Route 27), Metuchen.
The keynote speaker will be Kevin Hale, one of the organization’s board members, who was instrumental and successful in having the post office building on Main Street placed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.
