The Middlesex County College (MCC) Performing Arts Department will present performances of the classic play “Rashomon” at 8 p.m. Nov. 20, 21 and 22 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 23 on the main stage of the college’s Performing Arts Center, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
Directed by Ann Redlin of the Edison Arts Society, the play shines light on what men and women will go through to protect their image, reputation or self-esteem. The story of a heinous crime is told in flashbacks from the perspective of four narrators. In each version, the characters are the same, as are many of the details, but much is different as well.
