An Advent Reflection, with a DVD presentation by the Rev. John Corapi on the virtue of humility, is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at St. Bernadette’s Church, 20 Villanova Road, Parlin section of Old Bridge.
The Rev. Corapi went from life as a successful businessman in Las Vegas and Hollywood, to being drug-addicted and homeless, to ordination to the priesthood at age 44.
The event schedule is as follows:
• 6:30-7 p.m. — confessions and recitation of the Rosary;
• 7 pm. — showing of Corapi’s DVD, “Humility”;
• 8 p.m. — exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, a question-and-answer period, act of consecration to the Holy Eucharistic presence, the litany of the Eucharist;
• 8:45 p.m. — benediction;
