Student to experience inauguration process

Kristie Marcinczyk, a junior majoring in political science at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, and a 2006 graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School, recentlywas selected to attend a Presidential Inauguration Internship Program set for Jan. 10-20 in Washington, D.C. The program is sponsored by The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.

Participating students will experience a behind-the-scenes view of the inauguration process, focusing on the newly elected president and the formation of the new executive administration. The internship will include political lectures, site visits, tours and special events culminating in attendance at the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20.

Marcinczyk is completing an internship on the 2008 presidential campaign.
