Each month a group of dedicated women from Edison’s Terra Nova Garden Club share their love of gardening with seniors in adult day care. The Garden Therapy Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month. They obtain cut flowers and assist clients in arranging them in small cans that are prepared as containers by the members.
The committee also visits the Lyons VeteransAdministration Hospital several times a year, and with the assistance of some veterans, creates small flower arrangements.
