The Metuchen Police Department will host the second Neighborhood Watch meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Metuchen High School, 400 Grove Ave., in the cafeteria.
Police Officers Kenneth Bauer and Nancy Phibbs will give a presentation on how not to be a victim of property crimes during the holidays.
“The main goal is to bring as many people as possible so that we can deter criminals from committing crimes by not giving them an opportunity to do so,” said Bauer.
The officers will also discuss the Metuchen Citizens Police Academy, which will be held in the spring.
