Mr. Sabanos, 76, of Barnegat, formerly of Spotswood, died Dec. 9, 2008, in Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin. He was a former member of the Spotswood Zoning Board of Adjustment. Surviving are his wife, Norma Mason- Sabanos of Barnegat; a son, Michael C. Sabanos, and his wife, Carol, of Spotswood; four stepchildren, Roger Mason of South River, Debra Delaney, and her husband, John, of Aberdeen, Pamela Mason, and her husband, Raymond Sanders, of East Brunswick and Marjorie Liakakos, and her husband, Gregory, of Point Pleasant; a sister, Mary Haluska of Lansford, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Entombment was in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Toms River section of Dover. Arrangements were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home.
