Mr. Wright, 80, of South River, died Dec. 20, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a lifelong resident of South River. He was a retired member of the Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 5. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Wright was a member of American Legion Post 214, South River. He was a communicant of Corpus Christie Roman Catholic Church, South River, where he was an usher and member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Ruddy Wright, in 1991; and a sister, Lois Lapinski. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Jean of Frederick, Md., Christopher and Barbara of South River, and Colin and Roe of Gaithersburg, Md.; a daughter, Susan Wright of South River; two sisters, Carol Natalicchio and Marie Pache, both of Millstone; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Corpus Christi Church, followed by burial at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. The Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, was in charge of arrangements.
