Association extends thanks to Memory Walk supporters

I’d like to thank all of the Monmouth County residents and community members who supported our Memory Walk event on Sept. 27 at Little Silver Park in Point Pleasant Beach. We had a turnout of nearly 1,000 community residents.

Currently, over 350,000 New Jersey individuals are affected by Alzheimer’s disease, and that number is expected to increase dramatically in the next few decades. Memory Walk is our largest community based awareness and fundraising event. The money we raise is used to support vital programs and services for Alzheimer’s disease individuals and families throughout the New Jersey communities we serve.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our honorary Chairwoman Alice Stockton- Rossini, Little Silver Park and Point Pleasant Beach. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our dedicated committee volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year in planning the event: committee Chairwoman Francine Pannella, Ellen Barrington, Katie Ermenville, Ann Finnegan, Janet Freed, Patricia Halligan, Andrew Harris, Helen Jamison, Carol Milazzo, Cherlyn Murphy, Anne Pagnoni, Eleanor Pearson, Holly Sieka, Suni Simon, Debbie Yigit and Donna Schick.

We are united with Monmouth County in our vision to one day have “a world without Alzheimer’s disease.”
