Volunteers sought for Kimball thrift shops

Kimball Medical Center is looking for volunteers to assist in each of its three thrift shops: Kimball Closet in the Romeo Plaza in Jackson, The Treasure Chest in the Lakehurst Shopping Center in Lakehurst, and Lots for Little in the Seagull Square shopping center in Lakewood.

Kimball’s thrift shops provide a wide assortment of items, including gently used clothing, small appliances, housewares, shoes, art and fine furniture — at a fraction of their original cost. These shops not only provide financial support to Kimball Medical Center, but also fulfill a need in the community for affordable clothing, household items, toys and other goods.

Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of duties, some of which include pricing donated items, helping customers, displaying donated items and keeping the stores neat and presentable. Volunteers are needed immediately on Mondays and Saturdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., but volunteers are also welcome for all days and times. Details and registration: 732-886-4438.
