Rutgers guard Epiphanny Prince was named to the Big East women’s basketball weekly honor roll, the league office announced Monday morning.
Prince averaged 26 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Scarlet Knights. Prince paces the Scarlet Knights in scoring (20.5), assists (2.1), steals (2.5) and minutes (35.3). Her numbers rank her third among Big East leaders in scoring, second in free throw percentage (.878), fifth in steals and third in minutes. The guard has scored 20 or more points in nine games.
This is third time this season Prince has been named to the league’s weekly honor roll.
