Mrs. Nieto, 78, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died Jan. 7, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School, Milltown. Before that, she was a teacher and principal at Corpus Christi School, South River. Her husband, William, died in 1991. Surviving are two sons, William of South River and Daniel T., and his wife, Renee, of Howell; a daughter, Elizabeth Taveras, and her husband, Luis, of Ortley Beach; a brother, Daniel Lehane of Saratoga, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
