Mr. DeLucia, 90, a resident of The Villages in Howell since 1996, died Feb. 1, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center.. He was a New York City police officer before his retirement in 1976. Mr. DeLucia was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Elvira DeLucia; a son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Janet DeLucia of Albertson, N.Y.; a daughter, Laura Larkin of Freehold Township; a sister, Mary Angeloro of Massachusetts; and two grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
