   Children ages 5-8 are invited to Story & Craft Night at the Florence Township Library tonight (Feb. 19) from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Decide which is your favorite furry creature, “Polar Bears or Pokemon.” Listen to stories, play a Pokemon game and enjoy a treat.

   American Legion Post 39 will hold and old fashion “Sock Hop” on Feb. 21. Cost is $15 per ticket-cash bar. Dress is casual and prizes will be given for the best male and female ‘50s attire. Doors open at 7 pm with food and dancing beginning at 8 p.m. Call Phil at 499-4232 to reserve your tickets.

   There will be an election on Feb. 21 for our Local Fire Dept. The polls open 2 to 9 p.m. at the Township Fire Department, 401 Firehouse Lane.

   St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Second and Spring streets, Florence, is having a Pancake Supper on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 24. Cost is $5 per person. Doors opem at 5:30 p.m. Call Bonnie Tete at 744-9486 for tickets in advance. Tickets will be sold at the door. Wednesday, Feb. 25. at 7 p.m. will be their Ash Wednesday service. Everyone is welcome.
   There will be a combined Ash Wednesday Service for Trinity and Florence U.M. held at the Florence Church at 7 p.m. All are welcome.
   Anyone interested in purchasing a memorial brick in memory of a loved one can pick up a form at the dinner or contact Bonnie Tete at 744-9469. The cost is $25 a brick.
