Mr. Gayer, 64, of Sea Bright, died Feb. 5, 2009, at home. He was employed for several years at Shea’s Family Service Station, Sea Bright. He is survived by a brother and sister-inlaw, Michael S. and Anne-Mari Alexander; and his stepmother, Patricia Alexander. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724.
