To the editor:
With regard to your story, “Boro car purchase takes detour” (Feb. 27) parking enforcement personnel should walk. Because walking is slower than driving, offices for supervisors should be eliminated and they can walk and write tickets, too. While they’re walking, they can pick up litter and be generally helpful to visitors, merchants and residents.
