Women and Men will be Embracing THEIR GREATNESSAT MIND, Body & Spirit International Conference & Gourmet Pizza Party TO BE HELD AT ALFONSO’S FAMILY TRATTORIA IN SOMERVILLE, NJ ON MARCH 21, 2009 NOON TO 5:00 PM
Somerville, NJ – Renewing your spirit and nourishing your soul will be the focus of a Women’s/Men Festival “Women and Men Embracing Our Greatness Mind, Body and Spirit International Conference and Gourmet Pizza Party” presented by SuZen, MSW Owner of The Life Coaching Center of Somerville, NJ on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from Noon to 5 pm at Alfonso’s Family Trattoria and Gourmet Pizzeria, 99 West Main Street, Somerville, NJ. Join us for an afternoon of celebration, learning & peace. Women and men ages 20 and up are invited. “I’m calling this an international conference cause we have representation from many diverse cultures that include African, Indian, Native American, Middle Eastern, Israel and American. Also Italian in the form of our menu that will feature an unlimited selection of Gourmet Pizzas made by Alfonso’s Voted number one Restaurant & Pizzeria in Somerset County.” Explained SuZen, MSW host of the event. The keynote speaker will be Sidereal Astrologer; Valerie Lemme (www.valerielemme.com) The topic of her talk will be astrology and astrologic influences for the year 2009. Ms. Lemme will also provide 20-minute private astrology readings.
Also Team Northrup (teamnorthrup.com), a league of entrepreneurial men and women who are philosophically aligned with the work of women’s wellness pioneer, world-renowned author, & the country’s most respected authorities on women’s health, Dr. Christiane Northrup, will speak. Other guests will speak on holistic health and wellness topics.
Entertainment will include Rutgers University Dance Instructor Audrey Davis (www.africandancelady.com), who bills herself as The African Dance Lady and is a member of the Iwa Lewa Heritage Ensemble, will perform African Dance. “As a woman, African dance sets my spirit free,” exclaims Ms. Davis. Professional singer, songwriter, songwriting teacher, healer, teacher, and mother Kanttara McPeak will sing. She channels her singing, touching and inspiring a room to touch their own divinity. With her work, Kanttara brings you to a new level of self-awareness through music and art. Kanttara channels her divine music to awaken us, people in all ages, into our multidimensional being and higher levels of existence. In her music, as a professional and skilled singer and healer, she uses her soothing voice along with the sounds of the crystal bowls to open the heart. “Art and music bring a new level of self awareness we might not have found otherwise,”explains Kanttara.
Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a Native American drumming circle with Zelda Hotaling. Ms. Hotaling, raised in the Native American Traditions, Mohawk of the Haudenosaunee, has been a drum maker and storyteller for 17 years. She recycles the fibers of the earth to create drums of buffalo, elk, and deer, which will be on sale.
Vendors will be on hand to sell everything from Native American drums and rattles, natural aromatherapy and essential oils, spiritual jewelry, bells, African apparel, and the speakers books, compact discs, and DVDs.
Mary Beth Spitz of Pyramid Aura Photography will be on hand to take pictures of your aura. An aura is the electromagnetic energy field that surrounds, encompasses and permeates the body as well as all living things. The colors and patterns within this energy field constitute a blueprint (the results of the energy we radiate from our feelings, thoughts, and physical being). Until recently, Aura’s were only seen by the special few who had a gift to see the rainbow of colors. With aura photography we get a visual image of how we are functioning. The conference will also feature 20-minute Intuitive and Numerology readings.
