Mr. Parrottino, 87, of Long Branch, died March 2, 2009, at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a retired electrician at IBEW Local 102, Parsippany. He also worked at Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport, for 12 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sylvia Peterson Parrottino; a son, Michael L. Parrottino of Long Branch; a daughter, Debbie Mellish of Long Branch; a brother, Robert Parrottino of Florida; two sisters, Addie Lucia of Long Branch, and Violet Mazza of Florida; and a grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
