Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook, will host “Birding for Beginners,” presented by naturalists from the New Jersey Audubon Society, 10 a.m. April 5.
Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a spring bird walk 10 a.m. April 11. A surf-fishing clinic will be 8 a.m. April 25. Staff from the American Littoral Society (ALS) will lead the day of fishing and instruction on the beach. There is a fee, and reservations are required. For reservations, call Jeff at 732-291-0055.
