Mrs. King, 87, of Howell, died Feb. 26, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She had resided in Freehold Township, Oakhurst, and in Holiday City South, Berkeley Township, before moving to Howell eight years ago. Mrs. King was an executive secretary for the director of the Monmouth County Board of Social Services, Freehold Township, for more than 20 years before her retirement. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Rodney R. King; two sons, Raymond V. King and his wife, Marian, and Mark King and his wife, Joann; three daughters, Suzanne De- Grande and her husband, Peter, Bernadette King, and Georgette Tucholski and her husband, Tom; and 10 grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
