The 26th annual Ralph Lamo Memorial Daisy Breakfast will be held 8 a.m.-1 p.m. April 5 at the East Brunswick Hilton, Route 18, East Brunswick.
Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit individuals with special needs who participate in the Daisy Recreation Program, sponsored by the East Brunswick Division of Recreation and Community Services and The Daisy Association. The program is designed to promote the concept of education through recreation for the developmentally challenged.
Additional event highlights will include a DJ offering music, games and limited children’s activities; a tricky tray featuring prizes donated by local merchants; and 50/50 raffles.
The breakfast menu will include eggs, bacon, home fries, pancakes, doughnuts, rolls, juice, coffee, tea and milk. Volunteers plan, prepare and serve the breakfast and clean up after the event.
Tickets, which cost $10 for adults and $2 for children under age 10, are available at the East Brunswick Recreation Office, Dunhams Corner Road; the township clerk’s office in the East Brunswick Municipal Building, Jean Walling Civic Center; or at the door. Parking at the Hilton is free of charge.
