Red Bank’s annual fireworks display – celebrating its 50th anniversary year – will be less than 100 days away on Thursday, April 16, when the KaBoom! Fireworks on the Navesink committee holds its annual fundraising cocktail party at the Monmouth Boat Club from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tastings will be provided by some of Red Bank’s most popular restaurants. Participating this year are Danny’s Steakhouse, Broad Street Filling Station, Racioppi’s, Torcello, Red, Gaetano’s, The Bistro, Dish, The Windmill, Teak, Basil T’s, and The Melting Pot plus Sickles Fresh Market and Blackwell’s Organic. Live music by KOKA, plus a silent and live auction.
KaBoom! draws more than 150,000 visitors for a spectacular July 3 fireworks display on the river, according to organizers.
KaBoom costs nearly $200,000 to stage and is paid for through fundraisers and donations.
