Mr. Prunty, 63, of Middletown, died March 31, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a government bond broker at Liberty Brokerage, New York City, before his retirement in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Peter and Nancy of Little Silver, and Michael and Brian, both of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Annmarie and Matthew McNamara of Middletown; a brother, Richard of Guilford, Conn.; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
