Mr. Gager, 56, of Oceanport, died April 6, 2009, at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. He resided in North Long Branch, prior to relocating to Oceanport. He was a respiratory therapist at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, and Jersey Shore University Medial Center, Neptune, for more than 30 years, retiring five years ago. He was predeceased by his parents, Julia and Richard Gager. He is survived by a son, Anthony Primo of Neptune City; a sister, Clara Mae Burke of West Long Branch; and his caregiver, Beth Perrone of Oceanport. A memorial service was held at First Assembly of God Church, Shrewsbury. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch. Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Hospital Foundation, P.O.
