• Proceeds Night, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes School, Milltown, 5-9 p.m., at TGI Friday’s, Route 1 south, North Brunswick. Restaurant will donate 20 percent of each supporter’s check (eat-in or takeout) to the school. Diners must present event flier for donation to count. • Tricky Tray, sponsored by Lawrence Brook School PTA, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., in the gymnasium at the school, 48 Sullivan Way. Prizes include four One-Day Hopper Passes to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.; a Day of Beauty at Lancome, The Boutique, in New York City; various gift baskets; theater tickets; sports tickets; more. • Comedy Night, starring Matt Bridgestone and friends, sponsored by American Legion Post No. 253, buffet dinner at 7 p.m., show begins at 9 p.m., at the post home, Devoe Avenue, Spotswood. • Mother/Son Night, sponsored by Showstoppers Plus, doors open at 6:45 p.m., event runs 7-9:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL) School, 44 Cleveland Ave., Milltown. Youngsters in prekindergarten eighth grade and their mothers invited. Participants may wear their favorite team jersey and play basketball, flag football, hopscotch, dodge ball; jump rope; dance. • Miniature Golf Weekend, sponsored by the St. Paul’s Church Youth Group, 6-9 p.m. April 24, 6-9:30 p.m. April 25, at St. Paul’s Church Social Hall, West Lakewood Avenue, Milltown. • Indoor/Outdoor Flea Market and Craft Fair, sponsored by the Family Readiness Group of the New Jersey Army National Guard 50th Chemical Company, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Somerset Army National Guard Armory, 1060 Hamilton St., Somerset section of Franklin. Rain date is May 2. Proceeds go to a Welcome Home Dinner/ Dance on a cruise ship for the 50th Chemical Company soldiers, who are deployed in Iraq and due to return to New Jersey in June. • Indoor/Outdoor Community Yard Sale, sponsored by Chittick School PTA, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in the school parking lot and gymnasium, 5 Flagler St., East Brunswick. Clothing drive 11 a.m.-3 p.m. curbside. PTA accepting clean, wearable clothing; accessories; linens; backpacks; lunch boxes; stuffed animals. Toys will not be accepted. PTA earns 10 cents a pound for donations. Licensed jeweler on site in to pay cash for unwanted gold and platinum jewelry; PTA receives 10 percent of the proceeds. • Community Child Fair Flea Market and Vendor Fair, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Kiddie Academy, 410 Main St., Spotswood. Proceeds from space-rental fees benefit the Christopher Basile Foundation.
