Romanian orphans will sing at benefit

A benefit Evening of Hope and Faith celebrating a journey of restoration for the orphans of Romania is set for 6-9 p.m. April 24 at Sayrewoods Bible Church, 2290 Route 9 south, Old Bridge.

The Romanian Orphan Choir, including orphans Sebi, age 10, Palmola, 8, and Mihai, 6, will perform. The choir is touring the United States to bring attention to the plight of Romanian orphan children.

Homemade desserts and coffee will be served throughout the evening. Activities for children and adults are planned. There will be a live demonstration by the black belts of ATA Academy, featuring John McInerny, a fifth-degree black belt.
