Elijah’s Promise, New Brunswick, will hold a benefit 8-11 p.m. May 2 at the Reformed Church, 19 S. Second Ave., Highland Park.
The event will feature dancing to the music of DJ J. Zajac. Promise Catering will provide hors d’oeuvres, crepes, desserts and more.
Proceeds will support Elijah’s Promise’s soup kitchen, social-services programs and culinary jobs-training program.
Tickets cost $25 for ages 16 and above; children will be admitted free of charge.

Individuals who would like to honor their mother (or anyone else) for Mother’s Day should include the honoree’s name and address with their check; Elijah’s Promise will send out a tribute card.
