Mr. Evers, 76, of Lakewood, died April 15, 2009, at Atlantic Coast Nursing Facility of Lakewood. He resided in the Locust section of Middletown for 30 years, prior to relocating to Lakewood. He was a retired research chemist at International Flavors and Fragrances, Union Beach, and held several patents. He also coowned with his wife, Adventure Travel, Middletown. He is survived by his wife, Rose Evers; a son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Tina Evers of Boxborough, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Brian Conter of Red Bank; two stepsons, Michael Bonaduce of Tinton Falls, and Anthony Bonaduce of Middletown; a brother, Robert W. Evers of Atlantic Highlands; and five grandchildren. Interment was at Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
